What kind of personal information does Cask Hub (CH) use?
When you place and order, you’ll be asked for your name, address, telephone number, email address, payment details.
To make it easier to manage your purchases, you can open a user account. This allows you to save your personal settings and review previous orders.
When you visit our website, even if you don’t make a reservation, we may collect certain information, like your IP address, or browser, and information about your computer’s operating system, application version, language settings and pages that have been shown to you. If you’re using a mobile device, we might also collect data that identifies your mobile device, device-specific settings and characteristics and latitude/longitude details.
We may also receive information about you when you use certain social media services.
How does CH use guest reviews and other destination-related information you share with us?
After your use any service booked through us, you might be invited to submit a guest review, which may ask for information about the service item, the surrounding areas, and the destination. If you don’t want your name to show with your review, you can use your screen name (which you can choose in your user account) or it can be displayed anonymously. By completing a guest review, you’re agreeing that it can be displayed (as further described in our Terms and Conditions) on, for example, the relevant service information page on our websites, in our mobile apps, in our social media accounts and in social apps, or on the website of the relevant property or on our business partner’s website, to inform other CH’s about the quality of the service item you used.
If you indicate that a guest review was helpful – or not helpful – we will aggregate this with feedback from other customers in order to sort and prioritize guest reviews. We may use the information in your lists or in other destination-related information you share with us in an anonymous format to help other CH’s find the right destination.
Payment Card Information
To make payments when purchasing products or services, we may require credit or debit card information. By submitting your credit or debit card account details through our website, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you expressly consent to share your information with third-party payment processors, and other third-party service providers such us credit card payment providers including, but not limited to, vendors who provide fraud detection services and you further agree to the following terms.
When you use a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard and Amex) we provide your credit or debit card account information to our third-party payment Gateway service (Click here to view SAGE security policy) in order to process your payments.
All transaction information passed between our merchant sites and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
You play a significant role in keeping your information secure. You should not share your user name, password, or other security information for your GP Brands account with anyone.
If you have a concern or believe that your communication with us is no longer secure (e.g., if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please contact us immediately by telephone or email.
